Rental Equipment When renting any district equipment, it is necessary to fill out a lease agreement and leave the necessary deposit. These forms are available at the office or at the location of the equipment. The district is not responsible for any accidents, injury or property damage that occurs while using any to the district equipment other than normal wear and tear. Users are responsible for returning all equipment to the proper place.
Rental cost is 15 cents per tree with a $50 per day minimum. The planter is kept at Paul Kronebusch's farm and must be scheduled through the district office. If the planter is not returned to the designated location without prior approval, a daily charge of $15 will be assessed. Rental cost is $20 per roll. Fabric layer holds rolls measuring 6' x 300'. If not returned in a reasonable amount of time, a daily charge of $40 will be assessed. Two heavy towner disks are available. One is kept at Paul Kronebusch's and the other at Keith Vandenbos'. Charges are $10 per acre for the first time over and $6 for each additional operation with a. A $250 deposit is required. A $100 cleaning fee will be assessed if the implement is returned unclean. The disk must be pulled by a tractor or semi-truck or by hauling on a trailer. No pickup trucks will be allowed to transport the disk. For district cooperators, there is no charge for using the camera. A $50 deposit is required and there is a three day limit for the use of the camera. If it is not returned by the specified time a late fee of $10.00 per day will be assessed. Users will be responsible for replacing the camera or any supplies furnished with the camera if lost or misplaced. The
Conservation district has a digital camera for use in area schools.
There is no charge to the schools for use of this camera.
It can be kept up to two weeks. However,
if the camera is kept beyond the specified date a $10.00 per day late fee will
be assessed. The school must state
the type of conservation project the camera is being used for and give a report
to the Conservation District. Bundles of flags are available in two colors and cost $12.00 a bundle. This price is subject to change depending on the wholesale price. Pondera County ownerships updated in 2008 are available in booklet form or as a wall map. Booklets are $30 each and wall maps are $35 each.
